Beginning this Sunday evening, July 27th, 6-8pm, Carolyn Wysong will be hosting girls pick up lacrosse at Sullivan's Island field (park down the road from Poe's). 

All girls 6th - 12th grade are welcome.  Beginners and skilled players are invited.  This will be very informal and lots of fun to try to generate new players and to keep current players moving forward with their skills.

You can't become a better lacrosse player by just playing more lacrosse.  You need to improve your overall athleticism.  The Velocity Sports Performance Nike Summer Performance Series will focus on:
Developing Power in your shot
Increasing your speed toward the goal
Improving agility on the field
The camp features both lacrosse skill instruction and Velocity Sports Performance's Nike SPARQ (Speed, Power, Agility, Reaction, Quickness) training.
The Director for the Lacrosse Camp is Jeff Mayer, who has played and coached lacrosse for over 27 years.  He played for Wittenberg University and is now President of the Men's Lacrosse League in Charleston and the Assistant Coach for Wando High School Lacrosse Club.
